Reuters reports that president of TDK Corp has predicted a fall in cost of 15% for hard disk read/write heads up to the year ending Q1 2009.

This drop compares to a 10% drop for the period ending Q1 2008.

Falling prices call only spell lower production costs which are likely to be passed on to the consumer.
